• Questions to Ask Your Wedding DJ/Disc Jockey

    • What type of event is your specialty?

      We specialize in Weddings however we have done School Dances, Parties (all sorts), Corporate Functions, you name it.  
    • Can I see my DJ perform or have a meeting before deciding to book them?

      The usual answer is no, it would not be a good idea.  Ewing's Mobile DJ Service however would have no problem of you showing up at another event of the same type.  We would make sure that we communicate with the client that is having that event that day and see if they are comfortable with that. Would you feel comfortable if Ewing's Mobile DJ Service brings another client to your event? I would say depends on the event.  Weddings? It would be very tricky.  Then, we will contact you to make sure you dress for the occasion and such.  

      When it comes to meeting with Ewing's Mobile DJ Service, we would be delighted to meet with you to answer questions of any kind you may have. 
    • Why do I have to sign a contract?

      It is a bind contract between the client and Ewing's Mobile DJ Service.  We make sure we stand behind of what we offer and stay with the client to the very end.  That is what honest business people do.  
    • What if I need to cancel after signing the contract?

      If you need to cancel after signing the contract, it will determine what the action is or situation.  Based on the decision of Ewing's Mobile DJ Service and also what is written in the contract between client and the company will playout what needs to be done.  Bottom line, depending on situation.  Based on contract, if you cancel in "x" amount of days from your event will determine what you still need to pay.  Retainers fees are non-refundable.  You will need to fill out a cancellation letter explaining the situation.  It will be the company's choice of what do to next.  
    • Can the DJ provide music and sound for the ceremony too?

      Yes! We sure can.  It usually costs an extra $100 for the Ceremony.  You can ask Ewing's Mobile DJ Service about details on that. 
    • How can I make sure that the DJ will have all of my special songs and play them at my event?

      We have a client portal that we provide username and password for you.  You can sign in and make your music selections.  Ewing's Mobile DJ Service will help you with that when planning your event.
